Pay: Up to $60.00 per hour
Job Title:
Louisiana Licensed Therapist (LPC, LCSW) – Medicaid Clients | Referral-Based | Flexible
Location:
Work From Home (Louisiana) | Telehealth
Job Type:
Contract / Referral Partnership (1099)
Job Description:
Community MindCare is a community-focused psychiatric practice seeking licensed therapists to partner with us to provide therapy services to patients with Medicaid insurance.
Due to a high demand for counseling services and limited Medicaid provider availability, we are building a network of trusted therapists to whom we can refer patients for ongoing therapy.
We understand that many therapists want to serve Medicaid populations but are discouraged by low reimbursement, administrative burden, and inconsistent referrals.
At Community MindCare, we remove those barriers by providing a steady client flow, handling administrative processes, and allowing you to focus on clinical care.
This is an ideal opportunity for independently credentialed therapists who are looking to increase their caseload with consistent, high-quality referrals, without taking on additional marketing or outreach efforts.
We currently have patients actively seeking therapy services and are looking to establish referral relationships with clinicians who can accept new clients.
What We Offer:
- Consistent referral stream of Medicaid patients
- No marketing required
- Flexible—accept as many or as few referrals as you’d like
- Opportunity to collaborate with a psychiatric practice
- Mission-driven work serving underserved populations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to determine client needs and treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy tailored to individual client requirements
- Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety during acute episodes
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions focused on mental health issues including PTSD, grief, addiction recovery, gender issues, chronic pain management, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop case management plans that incorporate social work principles and medical documentation aligned with HIPAA regulations
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using ICD coding systems; ensure compliance with CPT coding for billing purposes
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active Louisiana license (LPC, LCSW)
- Currently credentialed and in-network with at least two Medicaid MCOs (i.e. Louisiana Healthcare Connections, Aetna Better Health of Louisiana, Healthy Blue Louisiana)
- Ability to accept new clients within 1–2 weeks
- Experience with telehealth preferred; must have own computer, webcam, high-speed internet (public internet use prohibited)
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records
- Strong clinical and documentation skills
Preferred:
- Experience working with underserved or Medicaid populations
- Trauma-informed care experience
- Availability for evening or weekend sessions (not required but helpful)
To apply, please email your resume, brief description of your availability, and insurance panels you are currently credentialed with to [email protected]
Benefits:
- Flexible schedule
